SHS Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball Earn Big Wins over Bonny Eagle
Paige Sevigny scored 12 points to lead three double-digit scorers as the Spartans rolled to a 64-36 win over Bonny Eagle on Tuesday, January 2. Annalise Stimmell added 11 points, while Julissa McBarron had 10 for Sanford, which opened the game with a 17-4 run.
On the boys’ side, Makai Bougie and Tanner McCann each hit four 3-pointers as Sanford pulled away for a 69-58 win over the Scots. Bougie scored a game-high 26 points, McCann finished with 17, and Brady Adams added 11 for Sanford.
Sanford Mainers Name New Public Address Announcer for 2024 Season
Colin Martin has joined the Sanford Mainers organization as the new PA announcer for the 2024 season. According to the Sanford Mainers, Martin will handle all of the music and in-stadium announcements and serve as the station producer for away games on 104.3 FM. Martin is a Kittery native and studies Sports Media at Ithaca College.
