SHS girls basketball rolls past Massabesic to advance in Class AA South Playoffs
Paige Sevigny scored a game-high 16 points to lead the Spartans to a 67-27 win over Massabesic in the quarterfinals of the Class AA South Playoffs. Mollie Puffer added 14 points, Ava Hudson had 13 and Ella Tederous finished with 10.
Sanford advances to face the winner of Bonny Eagle and Gorham in the semifinals on Wednesday, February 19 at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.
SHS Spring Sports Registration Open
Spring athletic registration is now open for the 2025 season. To participate, students must register through the Arbiter Sports platform and ensure they have a current physical on file with the athletic office.
If you are unsure about the status of your physical, please contact the athletic office to verify, as a current physical is mandatory for participation in all spring sports.

Youth Baseball Camps Return to Sanford for Summer 2025
The Sanford Mainers have announced their 2025 youth baseball camp schedule, with two sessions planned for children ages 6-12. The summer camps will provide young players the opportunity to learn from current Mainers players and coaching staff.
Camp registration is now open through the organization’s website. The Mainers, who compete in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), have made these youth camps a regular part of their community outreach programming.
