SHS Sophomore competes at Maine Cross Country State Championships
Sanford High School sophomore Isaac Pelletier finished 58th at the Class A State Cross Country Championships at Twin Brooks Recreation Area in Cumberland on Saturday, November 2. Pelletier completed the 5-kilometer course in 18 minutes, 23.09 seconds.
Adult Basketball Returning to Sanford Memorial Gym
Drop in for recreational adult basketball at Memorial Gym every Monday evening this fall and winter. Games run from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Enter through door #3 at the rear of the facility. The program is open to all adult players for just $4 per session.
Sanford Parks & Rec Volleyball Moves to Larger Venue
Due to growing participation, Sanford Parks and Recreation’s volleyball program is moving to a more spacious location at Sanford Pride Elementary (SPE) gymnasium. The program will now utilize two full courts to accommodate all players. Sessions run from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the SPE gymnasium. The cost remains $4 for adults and $2 for Sanford High School students. The new location takes effect on November 4.
