Mainers’ offense explodes for 15 runs in win over Keene
Devan Bade’s bases-clearing double keyed a six-run fourth inning as the Sanford Mainers rolled to a 15-8 win over the Keene Swamp Bats in a NECBL baseball game on Tuesday, July 9, in New Hampshire.
Bade finished with five RBIs, and Christopher Willis added a two-run home run in the sixth for the Mainers, who came into Tuesday’s contest having scored 15 runs over the last three games combined.
Jackson Tucker, Blake Schaaf, and Mateo Hernandez each scored three runs for Sanford.
Connor Ball earned the win on the mound, allowing three runs over 5 ⅓ innings while striking out five.
Sanford High and Middle School hosting Sports Physical Clinic in August
Sanford High School and Middle School will be hosting a sports physical clinic on Monday, August 5, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the School Nurse’s Office (D105) at Sanford High School.
The clinic is available for Sanford students entering grades 6 through 12.
To access the School Nurse’s Office, enter Sanford High School through the Community Retail Center entrance near the greenhouse.
The cost for the sports physical is $20. Checks should be made payable to York Hospital. Students must register in advance.
Students must be accompanied by their parents or guardians or have the Limited Sports Exam form signed by them.
All physicals are valid for two years from the date of the physical.
