Sanford High School Provides Track for Great Bay’s Special Olympics Prep

Sanford High School Athletic Director Zach Lemelin graciously opened Alumni Stadium recently to allow Great Bay Services participants to practice for the York County Special Olympics Track Meet. According to Lemelin, Great Bay used the track for a couple of weeks to prepare for the meet which was held at Noble High School on Friday, May 10.

Sanford Mainers Seeking Host Families for 2024 Season

The Sanford Mainers are seeking host families for players and interns for the 2024 season. This is a great chance to participate in a rewarding experience. Host families receive benefits such as complimentary season tickets, access to all NECBL ballparks, discounts to local businesses, a free week to Mainers’ youth baseball camps, and more. SHS Baseball Continues Strong Season

Sanford High School’s baseball team moved to 8-2 on the season after a 2-1 win over Windham on Monday, May 13. Beckett Barlow went 3 for 4 with a run scored, while Scott Long and Ben Gill each added doubles. Starter Noah Corliss went five innings, allowing one run on one hit while striking out two to earn the win.
