Sanford High School tennis player Olivia Guinard will be playing in the next round of the Maine Principals’ Association State Singles Tournament, to be held in Lewiston on May 21. Olivia is one of the top 18 players in southern Maine.
The SHS Varsity Softball team is having a great season, with a 6-1 record so far. JV Baseball is also off to a winning start, with a record of 5-1.
Get your tickets now for the Sanford Mainers! The season kicks off at Goodall Park on June 4 at 6:30 p.m. against the Winnipesaukee Muskrats. Season tickets are just $70 for ages 13-59, and $40 for kids 12 and under, seniors 60+ and those with a valid US Military ID. Kiddie Kickers is a Sanford Rec program designed to introduce four- and five-year-olds to soccer the fun way! Coach will teach children the rules of the game, key words and the basics of the sport. They will participate in skill developing games throughout the session. The season finishes with an end of the year medal. Parents are encouraged to be there the entire time and to actively participate in the class with their child. Kiddie Kickers will be held at the Carl J.
