Sanford Regional Economic Growth Council is offering free training in social media marketing to interested businesses and organizations.
The sessions will be held in person at Goodall Memorial Library at the Center for Shopping from 3:30 to 5 pm on Monday, December 2 and Monday, December 9. Participants should bring a laptop or phone with them to practice as they are learning.
The sessions will explore platform options, how and when to post, best practices, creating content with photos and video, narrowing in on an audience and more.
The instructor is Mike McKeen, a graduate of Temple University. His business, Tiger Funk Productions, specializes in producing video and audio content for small business owners. He has experience with social media management, coaching, consulting and producing podcasts for clients and organizations.
