Clubs and activities have started up again at Sanford High School! Art Club, Winter Indoor Percussion, Environmental Club, and Jazz Band are just a few of the activities students can join. Winter Guard incorporates dancing with spinning flags and wooden rifles. Ocean Bowl is a competition among New England schools to see who knows the most about oceans. There’s a club or activity for everyone.
Carl J. Lamb School is having a Box Top Competition. Whichever class has the most box tops wins a celebration party! You don’t need to actually clip the box tops anymore – just scan your receipt with the box tops app on your phone within 14 days, and credit to your child’s class. If you can’t scan, just write your child’s teacher’s name on your receipts and send them to school with your child for credit.
SHS yearbooks are now on sale through April 1 for $65. Order yours at https://yearbookforever.com/.

Meals are served in the hallway outside of the cafeteria from 2:15-2:45. You may pick up your meal at this time even if your activity begins later in the afternoon/evening. The meal may be taken to your activity. For more information, contact Holly Hartley at hhartley@sanford.org.

If you have a Sanford student and would like to receive a weekly food bag please reach out to your school staff – nurse, councilor, teacher or administration; or you can email them directly to sign up. The food your student will bring home will be an assortment of the following possible items: whole grain pasta, pasta sauce, canned chicken or tuna, cereal, oatmeal or other breakfast items, canned fruits and veggies, rice, peanut butter, and other items as they are available. Email lori@strongersanford.org to enroll or for more info.
Purchase a footlong sub at the South Sanford Subway on March 26, and 10% of the proceeds will be donated to St. Thomas School.
