The Sanford Schools Legacy Foundation is starting a funding campaign to name the practice gym at Sanford High School after former Coach Bruce MacKinnon. Read more about Coach MacKinnon and learn how you can help here: https://www.sanfordschoolslegacyfoundation.org/_files/ugd/ab5ca5_1f6c5402abd942259574b4d243a81e9e.pdf.

Are you a Sanford High School student, or the parent or guardian of one? If so, read the SHS welcome letter with info on the cell phone policy, start dates, school photos, new teachers and much more.

Fall sports at SHS start August 15, under the leadership of new Athletic Director Zachary Lemelin. Links to registration and practice schedules can be found here.

School meals are free for all Maine kids! BUT, it is still important that everyone completes the School Meal Benefit Form. This form is used by the state and federal government to determine funding to support education, nutrition, and enrichment programs. Families still need to fill out a School Meal Benefit Form to determine need in their school district. Additionally, any student living in a household with income that makes them eligible for a free or reduced price school meal may also be eligible to receive extra grocery benefits through the Pandemic EBT program. Complete your School Meal Benefit Form here: https://bit.ly/3vS5oeo.

Tyler Estes is the most recent graduate of Sanford Community Adult Education, earning his HiSET in July. Congratulations!
