Scarecrow Contest & Family Fun

The Sanford-Springvale YMCA is hosting a scarecrow contest! Families and businesses are welcome to enter a scarecrow to be judged. Pick up your scarecrow frame at the Y, and return it completed prior to Saturday, October 31. All the scarecrows will be put on display for the Y’s Family Fun Event that day.
But there’s more to the Family Fun Event than just scarecrows! From noon to 2:00 p.m. there will be games, activities and prizes too. Families will move safely through the activity stations. Arrive in costume to be entered into a raffle. Two lucky winners will receive a 3 Month Family Membership to the Y. Pumpkins will be given, along with crafting supplies, to the first 30 children to arrive. This event is free and open to the whole community, not just Y members. See you there!
