Brady Adams and Hailey Tarbox were The Spartan Times’ Athletes of the Week

Brady Adams, Hailey Tarbox Named Spartan Times “Athletes of the Week”
The Spartan Times, a student-run newspaper at Sanford High School, has started a new “Athlete of the Week” feature in collaboration with SHS athletics. Brady Adams and Hailey Tarbox were named Sanford’s Athletes of the Week for their performances from January 22 to 27. Adams averaged 15 points and 3.5 rebounds on 57.1 percent shooting in two games for the boys’ basketball team. Tarbox made over 50 percent of her 3-point field goal attempts and averaged 3 rebounds and 2.3 steals for the girls’ team.
Sanford Mainers Release Schedule For 2024 Season
The Sanford Mainers released its schedule for the 2024 season on Sunday, January 28. Sanford’s 44-game season starts on Tuesday, June 4, and runs through Tuesday, July 30. They will open their season on the road against the Vermont Mountaineers and make their home debut on Thursday, June 6, against the Mystic Schooners.
