Construction trades students receive more than $20K in tools and scholarships
Eight Sanford students were among those who received $20,000 in tools and scholarships recently awarded through a partnership between Sanford Regional Technical Center and Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Maine.
The awards are funded through the sale of the modular home that the students constructed through their training in the building trades, electrical wiring and plumbing programs at the school.
Sanford High School seniors who received an award are: Danien Lirette, Kyle Demers, Andrew Harrison, Jonathan McCoy, Alex Sevigny, Eli Coleman, Christopher Jojokian and Peyton Pierce.
