Rotary’s January Thaw Fundraiser Set for Jan. 20

KAI Asian Fusion, 459 Main St. in Springvale, will host the Sanford Springvale Rotary Club’s January Thaw fundraiser to benefit the homeless in Sanford on Thursday, January 20 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Admission is $30 per person, includes one free signature drink PLUS complimentary samplings of all Kai famous food choices. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT Realty Corp. International will match the net funds raised by EXIT Associates benefiting SHA Development Corporation up to $4,000 until January 22, 2022. They ask that you bring one piece of warm clothing for the homeless: hat, scarf, socks or mittens.

For tickets you can email RotarySS.ME@gmail.com or message them through their Facebook page. It is requested that if you have NOT been fully vaccinated, that you wear a mask while attending the event. If you are not feeling well or have a fever, please remain at home.

The event is held in collaboration with the Sanford Housing Authority Development Corporation – 501c3 and to benefit the Community Outreach Program of the Sanford Police Department.
