On Friday, May 7, Sanford officers responding to a report of terrorizing/threatening on High St. arrested a 31-year-old Windham resident on a warrant, as well as charges of criminal threatening. He was also summonsed for operating after habitual offender revocation with a prior.
Saturday, May 8, a report of vandalism on Main St. resulted in a summons to a 43-year-old Sanford resident for criminal mischief and violating condition of release. That night, a 44-year-old resident of Cattaraugus, NY, was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle without a license on Main St. There were two other motor vehicle stops that also resulted in summonses that day, another on Main St. and one at the intersection of Davis Ave. and Gowen St. No further details were given.
There were no arrests or summonses on Sunday, May 9. Among other calls that day, Sanford Police responded along with fire and EMS to two motor vehicle accidents, one on Hanson Ridge Rd. and the other on Sherburne St.
In the early hours of Monday, May 10, a motor vehicle complaint on June St. led to the arrest of a 45-year-old Springvale resident for operating under the influence (no test) with a prior.
There were no arrests or summonses on Tuesday the 11th. Among the calls that day were a drug incident on St. Ignatius St. and a report of vandalism on Lebanon St.
On Wednesday May 12, a report of shoplifting on Main St. led to a 19-year-old Sanford resident being summonsed for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, sale and use of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug. The log also mentions an arrest made while a summons was being served on Boyd St., but no details were given.
Thursday, May 13, another shoplifting call on Main St. resulted in a juvenile age 15 being summonsed for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. A motor vehicle stop on High St. led to a 33-year-old Sanford resident being summonsed for operating after habitual offender revocation with a prior. A 30-year-old North Waterboro resident was summonsed for operating with a suspended registration after another motor vehicle stop, this one at Old Mill and Twombley Rds. A 33-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for having a suspended registration after a stop at Twombley and Sugar Hill Rds. The log mentions three other summonses being issued during motor vehicle stops that day, on Twombley, Alfred Rd. and Grammar St., no further details given.
