On the morning of Friday, May 14, Sanford Police were called to Diamond Ln. for a report of terrorizing/threatening, and arrested a 47-year-old Sanford resident on charges of violating a protection from abuse order and littering. That evening, a 20-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for operating with a suspended registration, after a motor vehicle stop on Main St. in Springvale.
Late Saturday night, May 15, a motor vehicle accident on Jackson St. resulted in the arrest of a 28-year-old Sanford resident on a charge of operating under the influence. Fire and EMS units also responded.
The Police Log records two arrests for Sunday, May 16, as Sanford Police assisted another agency to calls on Main St., but no details are given.
Monday, May 17, a 34-year-old Wells resident was arrested for operating under the influence after a motor vehicle complaint on Main St.
On Tuesday, May 18, a 24-year-old Sanford resident was arrested on River St. on a charge of violating a protection from abuse order. Later that evening, after a disturbance call to Gerrish Dr., a 26-year-old Sanford resident was taken into custody on a charge of domestic violence assault. After a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Twombley and Berwick Rds., a 24-year-old Rochester, NH, resident was summonsed for speeding 30+ miles an hour over the limit.
On the morning of Wednesday, May 19, a domestic disturbance call to Riverside Ave. resulted in a 34-year-old Sanford resident being arrested for domestic violence terrorizing, with a prior. That evening, a 36-year-old Springvale resident was arrested after a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Main and Amelia Sts. The charges were operating after habitual offender revocation with a prior, failing to stop for an officer, and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.
Thursday, May 20, Sanford Police took a 37-year-old Limerick resident into custody on an outstanding warrant. A summons was issued after a motor vehicle stop at Main and Frosts Sts. in Springvale, no details given.
