On Friday, April 23, a call for a domestic disturbance on Charles St. resulted in a 33-year-old Sanford resident being summonsed for criminal mischief. Later that day, another summons for criminal mischief was issued to a 62-year-old Portland resident after a Main St. disturbance. That evening, Sanford Police arrested a 22-year-old Sanford resident on charges of operating under the influence and driving to endanger, after a motor vehicle accident on Jagger Mill Rd.
Saturday, April 24, there were no arrests or summonses. Among the calls that day were three for emotionally disturbed persons. Officers also responded to six motor vehicle accidents.
Responding to a motor vehicle complaint on Country Club #3 Rd. on Sunday, April, 25, Sanford police arrested a 41-year-old Springvale resident on charges of domestic violence stalking, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, terrorizing, and criminal trespass. Later that day, a 46-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for criminal mischief after a vandalism call to a Brook St. address.
Monday, April 26, there were no arrests or summonses. The Department kept busy responding to six motor vehicle accidents, two animal complaints, another vandalism report, and other calls.
On Tuesday, April 27, Sanford officers serving a warrant on Gregory Dr. took a 32-year-old Sanford resident into custody.
Wednesday, April 28, a motor vehicle complaint on West St. led to the arrest of a 38-year old Sanford resident, who was charged with operating under the influence with 3+ priors, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, and refusing to sign a criminal summons. Later that night, a 27-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for assault after a call to a Twombley Rd. address.
There were no arrests or summonses on Thursday, April 29. Among the calls that day were three reports of larceny, forgery or fraud, to Lebanon St., Boyd St., and the intersection of High St. and Emery St.
