Police Log Digest: November 21-27

On Sunday, November 21, Sanford officers responding to a domestic disturbance on Lebanon St. took a 41-year-old Sanford resident into custody on a charge of domestic violence assault with priors. The Department also responded to a domestic disturbance at Washington/River Sts. that day, reports of terrorizing/threatening on Pioneer Ave., a prowler on Charles St., and vandalism on Washington St., among other calls.

On Monday, November 22, A 30-year old Portland resident was arrested at Washington/School Sts. on an outstanding warrant. There were a total of four domestic disturbances reported that day, on Alfred Rd./Jagger Mill, Farview Dr., King St., and Lebanon St. A juvenile runaway on Main St. was among the other calls reported that day.

Tuesday, November 23, there were no arrests or summonses. Two animal complaints, a report of sex offenses on June St., and violation of a protective order on Rankin St. in Springvale were among the calls that day.

On Wednesday, November 24, there were three more animal complaints, as well as reports of vandalism on Lebanon St. and Summer St. A motor vehicle stop on Main St. led to a 26-year-old Sanford resident being summonsed for failure to register vehicle.

There were no arrests or summonses on Thanksgiving Day, November 25. However, it was no holiday for the SPD as they responded to disturbances on Rankin St. and Payne St. in Springvale, a drug incident on School St. and two reports of terrorizing/threatening on Main St., among other calls.

On Friday, November 26, officers responding to a report of a burglary in progress on Main St. arrested a 43-year-old Sanford resident on an outstanding warrant. A burglary on Aspen Ln. was also reported, as well as an assault on Carver St. A domestic disturbance at Main & Washington Sts. was among the other calls that day.

Saturday, November 27, an arrest was made while Sanford Police were assisting another agency on Cottage St., no details given. A summons was issued to a 48-year-old Sanford resident for violating condition of release. Other calls that day included a shoplifting report on Main St. and a domestic disturbance on Morris St.
