On Sunday, March 20, a 19-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for operating without a license following a motor vehicle stop on Main St. Services were rendered following an assault on Winter St. Sanford EMS responded to that call as well. A burglary of a motor vehicle on River St. was investigated. A domestic disturbance on Auger St. and larceny/forgery/fraud on Bates St. were among the other calls that day.
Monday, March 21, a domestic disturbance on Main St. in Springvale resulted in a 25-year-old Sanford resident being taken into custody on a warrant. A call to Foothill Ln. for a burglary in progress led to a summons for violating condition of release to a 44-year-old South Berwick resident. Among the other calls that day were reports of vandalism on Oxford St., Ridgeway Ave. and Kimball St. Two juvenile runaways were reported.
On Tuesday, March 22, a 31-year-old Rumford resident was arrested on a warrant following a disturbance on Main St. Vandalism was reported on Kilby St. 29 motor vehicle stops were among the Police Department’s other activities that day.
Wednesday, March 23, a 36-year-old South Berwick resident was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Maple St. A 24-year-old Sanford resident was taken into custody on Pleasant St. on charges of arson and aggravated criminal mischief following a vehicle fire at 756 Main St. A report of larceny/forgery/fraud on Pioneer Ave., and a disturbance on Charles St. were among the other calls that day.
On Thursday, March 24, officers responding to an assault in progress on Main St. arrested a 52-year-old Wells resident. A 20-year-old Biddeford resident was taken into custody on a warrant at Main St. and Kennebunk Rd. Burglaries on Main St. and Front St. were reported. Violations of protective orders were investigated on Main St. and Jellerson Rd. Four motor vehicle accidents were among the other calls that day.
Friday, March 25, a disturbance on June St. resulted in a 23-year-old Sanford resident being charged with two counts of assault and violating condition of release. A summons was issued to a 32-year-old Sanford resident for shoplifting on Main St. There were 11 motor vehicle stops, of which three resulted in summonses.
On Saturday, March 26, a domestic disturbance on Grove St. in Springvale resulted in a 56-year-old Springvale resident being taken into custody on a warrant. A domestic disturbance on Jesse Cir. and a report of vandalism on Western Ave. were among the other calls that day. Officers conducted 19 motor vehicle stops and responded to two accidents.
