On Sunday, January 2, a 28-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for operating after suspension and violating condition of release following a motor vehicle stop at School and Bodwell Sts. Among the other calls that day were disturbances on Hanson Ridge Rd. and Yeaton Hill Rd.
Monday, January 3, Sanford Police responded to domestic disturbances on Hammond St., Patriots Ln. and Timber Ridge Ave. That last incident also required Sanford EMS for hospital transport. Motor vehicle enforcement included a number of stops on Cottage St.
On Tuesday, January 4, a motor vehicle stop at Bridge and Main Sts. in Springvale led to a 31-year-old resident of Derry, NH, being taken into custody on a warrant, with an additional charge of operating after suspension with a prior OUI. A drug incident on Main St. and a report of a burglarized motor vehicle on Trafton St. were among the other calls that day.
Wednesday, January 5, was a busy day for the Department. A 65-year-old Springvale resident was arrested following a disturbance on Rankin St., no charge listed. It was the third time officers were called to Rankin St. that day. A motor vehicle stop on Alfred Rd. led to a 40-year-old North Berwick resident being summonsed for violating condition of release and operating after suspension with a prior. A motor vehicle stop at Jaggier Mill Rd. and Ashmont St. resulted in a 23-year-old Wells resident being summonsed for operating with a suspended registration. Among other calls that day were burglar alarms on North Ave. and Community Dr., and a report of breaking and entering on High St.
On Thursday, January 6, a motor vehicle accident on Main St. led to an arrest, no details given. Other calls that day included a domestic disturbance on Pioneer Ave., a report of vandalism on State St. and larceny/forgery/fraud on School St. Services were rendered in a call for a juvenile runaway.
Friday, January 7, Sanford Police responded to disturbances on Rushton St. and Emery St., and reports of vandalism on Sherburne St. (Springvale) and River St. Peace was restored in a domestic disturbance on Airport Rd. A stolen vehicle was reported on Grove Ave. A 25-year-old Sanford resident was summonsed for operating after suspension following a motor vehicle stop at Kimball and Freemont Sts.
On Saturday, January 8, two 12-year-old juveniles were summonsed for harassment by phone. Officers responded to motor vehicle accidents on Alfred Rd. and Laurel St., and assisted another agency on Chick Rd. Peace was restored following a disturbance on Allen St. in Springvale.
