Planning Board Public Hearings Held
A public hearing was held for the Michael’s Place final subdivision and private way application. The plan is to develop a 10-lot residential subdivision on property located at the end of Guillemette Street and owned by Ash Cove Construction, LLC. (Tax Map G30, Lots 16 and 16A). Ronald Bougie spoke to affirm that he’d agreed to an easement on the back of his driveway with a commitment to create a stub across the street and no more cutting of trees on his lot line. There were no other public comments. All other previously identified conditions were met. The project was unanimously approved.
A second public hearing was held for the Fletcher Farm final subdivision and private way application. The proposal is to develop a 5-lot subdivision of single-family homes with a private way on property located on Jagger Mill Road and owned by Patterson Companies, LLC. (Tax
Map R15, Lot 79A) There were no comments from the public. Conditions identified by the Site Plan Review Committee have been met. The project is being subsidized through a Maine State Housing grant which sets a maximum amount the homes may be sold for, thereby reducing their cost. The project was unanimously approved.
