Scott L. Poisson
Scott L. Poisson, 44, of Shapleigh, ME passed away in his home on June 28th, 2023. Scott was born October 20th, 1978 in Sanford, ME, the son of the late Leon N. Poisson and his surviving mother Therese Yvette (Jalbert) Poisson. He was the younger brother of surviving sisters Nichole Poisson and Christine (Poisson) Ott, friend and brother-in-law, Al Ott, and Kat Doiron, uncle to nephew Storm Poisson, and nieces Raven and Skye Poisson-Ott. He was the loving and supportive husband of his wife Deb Poisson, and father to their children Jayde, James, Joshua, Damian, and Trinity. Although time and unfortunate circumstances separated their bonds, he also leaves behind children Majae, Gaven, Dominic, Vanessa, and Noah. Scott suffered from physical disabilities and ongoing health problems, yet he spent every day of his life striving to be the best man, husband, father, brother, uncle, and son that he could be. He was a beacon of hope to those around him, a shining light in a world that could be a dark and cold place. Scott will forever be in the hearts of those who knew him, and his light will shine down on us from among the stars for all of time. At Scott’s request, arrangements are private.
Sharon Fajardo
Sharon (née Gassman) Fajardo passed away from natural causes on July 4, 2023. Sharon was born to Patricia (née Gavin) and Edward Gassman on December 16, 1956 in Flushing, NY.
Sharon, being the 7th of 8 kids and the youngest of 6 sisters, found her voice at a young age. She learned early on to stand strong in her beliefs and to stand for those who could not stand for themselves. All while undoubtedly marching to the beat of her own drum. Being the youngest of the girls never stopped Sharon from being at the front of the line. It’s rumored that her first words were, “I’m mom’s favorite,” which she stood by her entire life (her siblings are pretty sure she started the rumor). Sharon’s lifeblood was her big family. If she wasn’t present, they didn’t feel complete. And when she was, no one ever wondered if she had been because of the imprint she undoubtedly left on each of them.
Over the course of their 25-year marriage, Sharon and Jaime had 3 children. Jennifer and James were both born in NY977, they made the decision to move their young family north to Sanford, Maine (the way life should be) and rounded out their crew with Christine.
She was predeceased by her parents, Patricia and Edward Gassman, and her beloved grandson, Isaiah Fajardo. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday July 19, from 4 to 7pm followed by a service at 7pm at Autumn Green Funeral Home, 47 Oak Street, Alfred. Memorial donations can be made in Sharon’s name to the National MS Society. For the entire obituary www.bibbersautumngreen.com
