The Springvale Bureau of Motor Vehicles office will likely not be reopening until mid-November. According to Kristen Muszynski, Communications Director for the Secretary of State’s office, a decision on a reopening date will be made after October 20. In the meantime, the Kennebunk office, which is currently open by appointment only, will begin accepting walk-in traffic after September 29. In an email Wednesday afternoon, Maine CDC confirmed the latest numbers for Covid-19 outbreaks in Sanford. More Covid Outbreaks in Sanford

WMTW and Seacoast Online are reporting that Maine CDC is investigating two more outbreaks at Sanford social clubs. An outbreak investigation at the VFW on Hutchenson St. was reportedly opened on September 11. Anyone who visited there since August 24 may have been exposed to the virus, and should contact their health care provider.
