Covid-19 Case at Middle School

The Sanford School Department announced that an individual associated with Sanford Middle School tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, November 14.  There is a possibility that staff or students came in contact with this individual and were exposed to the virus. The Springvale Bureau of Motor Vehicles office will reopen on Monday, November 23. Hours of operation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with phone lines open from 8:30 to 4:30. Please note that is Thanksgiving week, so the office will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the holiday. Latest Numbers Maine CDC is reporting a cumulative total of 172 cases of Covid-19 in Sanford and 50 in Springvale as of November 8, for a total of 222 cases in our community since the pandemic began.
