On Sunday, August 22, Sanford Police arrested a 36-year-old Sanford resident on an assault charge, after responding to a call on Washington St. Among other calls that day were two in Springvale, for vandalism and graffiti, and another vandalism call on River St. Monday, August 23, there were no arrests.
