Student Support Rooms Making a Difference

At the School Committee meeting on November 1, Kristy Richards, the Behavior Coach for grades K-4, gave a presentation on her work, with a focus on the Support and Transition program that she oversees at Sanford’s three elementary schools. In the race for City Council, former School Committee and Budget Committee member Becky Brink was the largest vote getter with 2,271, and will be sworn in to the Council in January. Incumbent Ayn Hanselmann has been re-elected for a second term with 1,692 votes.
