City Council 3/15 Meeting Summary

The Sanford City Council met March 15, 2022 via Zoom. All members were present. Mayor Anne-Marie Mastraccio led the Pledge of Allegiance and the moment of silence. Council Holds Public Hearing on Retail Marijuana Sales

A public hearing on proposed amendments to four chapters of the zoning ordinance, which would allow retail sales of adult-use cannabis (marijuana) in Sanford, was held at the City Council meeting March 15, 2022. Several of the proposed changes had not previously been discussed at a public meeting, including the fee schedule. March 2022 Subcommittee Reports

Two of the City Council’s subcommittees met March 8 for work sessions. The following items were among those presented and discussed. Municipal Operations and Property Mayor Anne-Marie Mastraccio and Deputy Mayor Maura Herlihy were joined by City Councilor Bob Stackpole, substituting for Becky Brink.
