Police Department’s Online Reporting System is Now Live

The Sanford Police Department’s online reporting system is up and running. Residents can use this new tool to report non-emergency crimes and incidents directly from their smart phones or computers. If the incident is an immediate threat to life, safety or property, do not use the online system, but call 911 instead. Tyler Sar, a first-generation college student from Sanford, has been named York County Community College's 2022 Student of the Year. Tyler was also named top of his class in the Maine Criminal Justice Corrections Academy. With his degree in Criminal Justice and successful completion of academy training, Tyler has been hired as a corrections officer at the York County Sheriff's Department.
