Sherburne St. in Sanford will soon be renamed Tanguay St., in honor of Leon Tanguay, a lifelong resident of Sanford who has lived on the street since 1947 and raised his family there. Mr. Tanguay is a World War II veteran who retired from a career as a stonemason at age 85. He will be 98 years old next month.
