If you've driven down High St. this past week, you probably noticed some big changes at Sanford Christian Academy. They are renovating and adding new classrooms. Business Notes: July 24, 2022

The Planning Board gave conditional approval to Sanford's first adult-use marijuana retail store this week, which will be located at 22 Smada Dr. in South Sanford. Pine Tree Maine, which currently operates a growing and manufacturing facility at that location, will open the store in the space that has been occupied by their medical marijuana dispensary, Landrace Cannabis. Sports Notes: July 24, 2022

Sanford Babe Ruth's 13-15 All-Stars, who are the Maine State Champs, are playing in the New England Regional Tournament in Keene, NH, this weekend. On Friday, they shut out the Rhode Island team with a score of 8-0, but on Saturday, suffered a tough loss to the Connecticut squad with a final score of 8-9. Upcoming Rabies Vaccination Clinics

Maine State Law requires all dogs and cats to be vaccinated against rabies. Tractor Supply on Main Street South Sanford: Sundays- July 24th and August 7th from 4pm to 5:30pm. Loyal Companion Pet Supply Store in the Shaws Plaza Main Street Sanford: Mondays- August 1st, August 29th, and September 26th from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
