Monday, May 16: A 43-year-old Lyman resident was taken into custody on Cheney St. in Springvale, on a warrant. Tuesday, May 17: A warrant being served on Main St. led to a 33-year-old Sanford resident being arrested for failure to appear in court on a criminal summons. Fire Department Log: May 16-31, 2022

Fires There were three fires in Sanford in the second half of May. In each case, all units and mutual aid responded. On the 22nd, an early morning fire on Kimball St. started when leaves were ignited by a short from an extension cord.
