All the candidates for Sanford’s three state legislative districts appeared at Candidates Night on October 12, 2022, and answered questions from moderators Shawn Sullivan and Tammy Wells. The Sanford Spartans Marching Band took GOLD at the Maine Band Directors’ Association Marching Band Finals on October 29 at Waterhouse Field in Biddeford. This is the 2nd Gold Medal in SHS Marching Band history. Upon their return, they got an escort from the Sanford Police and Fire Departments.
