Good News From Sanford Schools: December 4, 2022

Maine Audubon educators have been visiting Sanford Middle School with their conservation program, Stream Explorers. The first week students practiced using the nets and identifying macroinvertebrates. The second week, students went out to the field and sampled the stream near the school. On the sampling day, more than 100 students dipped nets into the stream and collected macroinvertebrates in the water. They identified them using magnifying glasses and special identification sheets.
