Sanford Soccer has been having some issues with people driving onto their chained-off parking area on Shaw’s Ridge Rd. and doing damage to the lot. They are asking residents to please alert the police if you see any vehicles there doing damage. School Committee 1/9 Meeting Notes

The Sanford School Committee met January 9, 2023. Jen Davie was absent, all other members were present. Organizational Matters Superintendent of Schools Matt Nelson began the meeting by announcing some adjustments to the agenda. The swearing in of new members was deleted from the agenda as that had been accomplished the previous week. Other items were moved up in order to be respectful of people’s time. Good News from Sanford Schools: January 8, 2023

Sanford High School Project Graduation 2023 is working on an initiative to support all students with finals week support kits. Kits are filled with ten fun and helpful items for students who are hard a work preparing for finals. The kits let students know that their community supports their efforts. Funds raised through the initiative go to the class of 2023 Project Graduation. $10 will sponsor a survival kit for a Sanford High School student. They are looking for over…
