School Committee 1/30 Meeting Summary

The Sanford School Committee met January 30, 2023. Chair Paula Cote was absent, all other members were present. Minutes of January 9 and January 12 meetings were approved. Superintendent of Schools Matt Nelson said this meeting had been rescheduled twice due to weather. Sanford Becomes Maine’s 15th Community Heart & Soul City

Press Release Formed in 2021, Friends of Downtown Sanford is a grassroots resident-driven movement to revitalize Sanford’s downtown. On Thursday, January 26th the group celebrated months of hard work and announced Sanford’s official designation as Heart & Soul of Sanford. Good News From Sanford Schools: January 2023

Sanford High School Spartans Cheerleaders took home 2nd place in the SMAA Championship yesterday.
