Mayflower Place Assisted Living will be transitioning to independent apartments for seniors at the end of June. Those residents who need more care than can be provided by visiting homecare services will be placed in other facilities. The building is owned by Sanford Housing Authority, and services have been provided by North Country Associates, a private company, since they took over the business from Southern Maine Health Care in 2021. SHS Spartans Update: The Wrestling team finished in third place at the State Championships on February 18. All five students who competed placed, including James Blood (State Champion), Mason VanGieson (4th place), James Chaplick (3rd place), Angel Zea (2nd place) and Canton Hill (4th place).
