On November 2, Sanford/Springvale voters will elect two City Councilors, one School Committee member, and one Trustee each for the Sanford Water District and Sanford Sewerage District. The following candidates will be on the ballot:
City Council – vote for 2
School Committee – vote for 1
Trustee, Sanford Water District – vote for 1
Trustee, Sanford Sewerage District – vote for 1

In addition to voting for municipal offices, there will also be three statewide ballot questions. Visit Ballotpedia for detailed information about each one, including easy-to-understand summaries, and arguments for and against each one.
In-person absentee voting at City Hall is expected to begin October 4. The City Clerk’s office will be open additional hours to accommodate voters. The City of Sanford strongly recommends absentee voting due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the election is Thursday, October 28.
