News Notes: September 6

York County Shelter Program is no longer partnering with the Calvary Baptist Church on their meals kitchen, but the meals are still available. They are pre-packaged and sealed and offered on a contactless takeaway basis from YCSP’s van, parked at 62 High St. from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The free monthly Matthew 25:35 Meals return to Sanford beginning September 8, and will continue on the second Tuesday of each month. The community meals are organized and presented by teens from Holy Spirit Parish in Wells and Kennebunk, and St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish in Sanford. The meal will be offered as takeout and curbside service only, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Ignatius Hall. All are welcome.

The industrial / office building in South Sanford that previously housed Seacoast Career Schools among other businesses, has been redeveloped and rebranded as One Eagle. Check out this new video by the Sanford Growth Council showcasing all the improvements made to attract new manufacturers to Sanford.
