The Sanford Police Department reminds us that the newly converted Sanford Middle School (formerly the High School) at 52 Spartan Drive will be occupied by students 5th grade through 8th grade beginning Monday September 28th. They ask that drivers be aware of the new traffic pattern and not use it as a “cut through” during school hours as it will be filled with buses and students. Please observe the speed limit for the safety of all.
A reminder from York County Community Action that the deadline for applying for rent relief is September 30, 2020 for rent owed ONLY for September or prior months. This program will not cover October rent. Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis. Applications that are received after funds are exhausted will be held for consideration in the event that the Federal government provides additional economic support. More information is available on YCCAC’s website.
The St. Thérèse of Lisieux parish office will be closed to the public until October 5, due to a positive case of Covid-19 in the parish. Masses will continue at Holy Family and Notre Dame churches. Masses are also live streamed on the parish Facebook page.
