Tryouts have been scheduled for Sanford Recreation Spartans travel basketball. Tryouts are free, and will be held at the Nasson Gym on Oct 13 and Oct 14. If selected for the team, the cost is $175 for the season. Each player is only required to attend one of the tryout sessions for their age bracket, but are welcome to attend both. The Kids Free to Grow diaper drive continues through September 30. If you can donate diapers, drop them off at the Sanford-Springvale YMCA, Springvale Library or Little World 2 Child Care.
