Puppy Scam: The Sanford Police Department is warning residents of a Facebook scam involving puppies. A seller claims to have puppies for sale (presumably with adorable photos), a buyer sends money, and when they go to pick up the puppy, the person at that address is not selling puppies. The SPD advises citizens not to send money for anything without physically seeing the item they wish to purchase.
