- Covid-19 Goodall Library Old Timers Shop Sanford Mainers scholarships Subway YMCA
The Sanford-Springvale YMCA recently received a donation of $2,716 from Subway Restaurants of Maine. This money was raised during the SUBWAY CARES campaign in the month of December. Subway has been a long time supporter of the YMCA, and every month they provide the Early Learning Center with healthy lunch options.
Due to a recent increase of Covid-19 cases within the community and an abundance of caution, Goodall Library will shift to curbside service only for the week of January 11 – 15. To place a hold visit them online at lbgoodall.org or call the library at 324-4714. When you arrive for pick up, ring the doorbell and they will hand the items out to you at the door. If you’re really missing the library, take their new video tour!
The Old Timers’ Shop will also be closed this week due to possible Covid exposure.
Calling all Sanford Spartans athletes and students of the arts! The application for the Mainers’ David M. Ahern Memorial Scholarship is now open! It is important to note that due to the restrictions surrounding high school sports throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, athletes or students who participated in arts related programs prior to the pandemic are still eligible to apply.
