The Nasson College Alumni Association held its annual Homecoming and reunion this past weekend.
Although the College, which was located in Springvale, has been closed since 1983, the Alumni Association is still a very active group. It provides funds for scholarships, grants to local agencies such as the Little Theater, the Goodall and Springvale Libraries and provided funds to help the Nasson Community Center to replace its gym floor and siding over the past year.
A large group of Nasson Alumni held their annual meeting and luncheon in Springvale on Saturday before touring the old campus and then adjourning to Jonathan’s Restaurant in Ogunquit for an evening of dinner and dancing.
The Homecoming concluded with a Sunday Brunch with speakers from Nasson’s past faculty. The Homecoming is held the first full weekend in October annually.
