In an email Wednesday afternoon, Maine CDC confirmed the latest numbers for Covid-19 outbreaks in Sanford.
The Elks Lodge is the most recent investigation, opened Wednesday.
When questioned whether the numbers in the social club outbreaks represented unique individuals, or if the same individuals were being counted multiple times, Maine CDC spokesperson Robert Long replied, “Our epidemiologists are investigating whether there is any crossover among members of the clubs.”
The Sanford Fire Department outbreak investigation was also still open, as of Thursday.
