On June 8, there was a fire in a vehicle being serviced on Oak St. Three units responded. June 15, Engine 2 was called to a trash fire at a demolition site on Jagger Mill Rd. There was one call for unauthorized burning.
June 15, there was a soda fountain carbon dioxide leak on Main St. There were two calls for downed power lines and one for a defective elevator with no occupants. One call was for a cover assignment, one service call and two good intent calls, no details given.
There were 121 calls for emergency medical services during the first half of June. 36 people required first aid, 53 received basic life support and 44 received advanced life support. 95 individuals were transported to hospitals. The Department responded to three motor vehicle accidents with injuries, and five without injuries. Five invalids were assisted.
Seven calls were dispatched and cancelled en route. Five calls had no incident found upon arrival. There were seven calls for unintentional activation or malfunctioning alarms or detectors.
