Come for the FREE petting zoo, bounce houses and inflatables, relays and races, face-painting, photo booth and more. Stay for FREE eats, such as burgers, dogs, cotton candy, popcorn and seasonal treats. Park at Southern Maine Health Care-Sanford Medical Center, off of June Street (look for the signs). Come celebrate local foods, music, artisan crafts, visit some farm animals, participate in a pumpkin decorating contest, AND help fundraise for two local charities.
Maine author David Florig will discuss and read from his new novel The Shattered Curling Stone, with additional readings from his first book The Stones of Ailsa Craig. Plus (for the curious) a curling stone made of 60-million year old Irish granite will be there. Admittance to this event is free to the public.
There will be inflatables, rock climbing, bounce houses, and a host of other fun games and activities.
