“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”-Helen Keller
The Sanford Springvale News is a non-profit newspaper, and we couldn’t maintain the website, Facebook, and E-Newsletter without numerous volunteers and financial supporters.
We have come so far since the first meeting on March 23, 2023 when approximately 20 individuals gathered with the common goal to rekindle the Sanford Springvale News. Those in attendance had varying skill levels in terms of working on a newspaper but all shared a strong feeling that our community needed to have a free source of factual information about what is happening in Sanford and Springvale. They shared a can-do attitude. Many times in the past few months our progress was described as flying while still learning to pilot the plane, but we have persevered because of the commitment of this core group of volunteers.
Thank you to all our volunteers who do so much to keep this important work going.
