The DaPonte String Quartet, renowned for their exceptional musicality and artistry, returns to the Sanford Springvale Historical Museum with a concert at 4 pm on Sunday, Aug. 4, that will feature the debut of a new musician.

Violinist Philipp Elssner will be joining the quartet for a series of performances featuring Beethoven’s Opus 127 quartet and Mozart’s K589 quartet. The Beethoven quartet is a masterpiece of the string quartet repertoire. Known for its emotional depth and intricate musical interplay, this piece will showcase the DaPonte String Quartet’s impeccable musicianship and ability to connect with audiences on a profound level.

“We are so happy to welcome Philipp Elssner to the DaPonte String Quartet,” say the other quartet members. “His exceptional talent and musicality will undoubtedly bring a fresh perspective to our performances. We can’t wait to share this exciting program of Beethoven and Mozart with our audience.”
