Compiled by Sam Bonsey The Sanford High School football team opened its 2023 season with a 41-17 win over Scarborough on Friday, September 1. Jordan Bissonnette ran for three touchdowns, and the Spartans scored 28 unanswered points after trailing 17-13 at halftime. Sanford took the lead for good when Tyler Pitman caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from Tanner McCann to make it 20-17.
