$10 will send two backpacks home with Sanford kids who are fighting youth food insecurity. It will also get you entered into our FUN and FESTIVE Halloween Yard Decorating contest in Sanford/Springvale! New Beaver Control Device at Deering Pond

by Kevin McKeon A joint effort among The Sanford-Springvale Mousam Way Land Trust, The Sanford ATV Club, and the Sanford Trails Committee, is addressing an old and ongoing human/beaver conflict issue: Protect the Deering Pond environment within the Trust’s Hall Environmental Reserve, while also maintaining the integrity of the Sanford Rail Trail. Community Garden Gets Walmart Grant

Press Release The Sanford-Springvale Mousam Way Land Trust is happy to announce that it has been awarded a “Walmart Community Grants Team” grant, from the company’s Sanford Store, to support the Trust’s Sanford Community Garden. This $750.00 award was used to buy, build, and install a Produce Wash Station to enable gardeners to clean both their produce, and the produce that they’ve grown for the local food pantry.
