City and School Department seek input

Photo by Terry Jellerson Community members are invited to complete separate surveys from the Sanford School Department and City of Sanford.The school department’s survey is the first step in updating its mission, vision and core values.The information received will help a planning committee develop a draft that will be shared for additional feedback from stakeholders. School Budget Approved   A small cohort of voters approved a $61 million school budget Tuesday by an 80-20 percent margin, according to Sue H. Cote, City Clerk and Registrar of Voters. The turnout of 488 voters represented just 3 percent of the registered voters in the city, according to Ms. Cote. School Committee 6/5/23 Meeting Summary 

The School Committee met June 5, 2023. Construction trades students receive more than $20K in tools and scholarships Eight Sanford students were among those who received $20,000 in tools and scholarships recently awarded through a partnership between Sanford Regional Technical Center and Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Maine.
